The client just installed CA Intertest for CICS r11 and the CA Intertest CICS DB2 CAVHDBRM PDS library is missing?

Issue/Introduction

After installing CA Intertest for CICS r 11 the client is configuring the CA Intertest for CICS DB2 requirements. The client cannot locate the CA Intertest for CICS DB2 CSD entries in the CAVHJCL PDS and the DB2 CAVHDBRM PDS that contains the DBRM'S needed for the bind are missing.

Cause

Starting in release 11 CA Intertest for CICS now has an DB2 FMID CABAB01 which was not part of  the V 9.1 install. 
During the base install the client did not apply the CA Intertest for CICS r 11 DB2 FMID CABAB01. 
CABAB01 Common CICS DB2 Component Optional 
The CA Intertest for CICS r 11 FMID’s are documented in the base installation steps.


 
 

Resolution

The client reinstalled R 11 this time including the CABAB01 Common CICS DB2 Component FMID as part of the base install.
 
The required FMID’S for a CA Intertest for CICS r 11 DB2 licensed site are
 
CAVHB00 Common Symbolic Component Required
CABAB00 Common CICS Component Required
CCSAB00 CA InterTest for CICS Component
CABAB01 Common CICS DB2 Component Optional
