Question on storage requirements for 'RES' FACILITY Control Option

Issue/Introduction

We would like to change the facility from NORES to RES and would like to understand the additioal storage needs.

When the 'RES' attribute is specified on the FACILTY, the PERMIT maskable resource are loaded in 31 bit high private storage. The amount of storage depends on the amount of users signed on and the amount of maskable resource PERMITs each user has. Because of this the amount of storage varies from site to site. Its never ever been an issue with CA Top Secret users since 31bit high private is abundant. You may want to monitor your 31bit high private before and after activating RES to give you an idea of its storage impact.
