CA Identity Manager: Renaming UnixV2 accounts after they've been created

Issue/Introduction

When attempting to rename a UnixV2 account in Identity Manager's Provisioning Manager interface, the following error occurs:

Connector server rename failed: code 80 [other=naming exception]

Is it possible to change account names of UnixV2 accounts in Identity Manager after they've been created?

Release: All Supported Releases 
Component: Identity Manager 

Resolution

The UnixV2 account has the username as an un-editable field in Provisioning Manager.

Therefore, it cannot be renamed.

The right-click menu is generic to accommodate all endpoint types, so not every feature of the right-click menu is available for every endpoint type. The screen that displays its account is a more accurate view of the capabilities of an endpoint.
