Issue/Introduction
While on-site a colleague asked us to check if NetMaster 12.2 /PARMS group $AM ALERTS supports SNMP v3 on field Dest Type. It did not look so.
Environment
OS: z/OS.
Cause
On-site implementation required SNMP v3 alerts--preferably by using NetMaster Network Management for TCP/IP.
Resolution
Our colleague was informed that SNMP v3 is not supported on field Dest Type. We also suggested that an Idea could be added to the NetMaster Community.
