Issue/Introduction

ISSUE Some of the clients installing/upgrading their Data Upload Tool to the latest version of 7.5.3 may encounter the below error message when testing a connection to our servers:
“SSL protocol version set is tls1_2schannel: next InitializeSecurityContext failed: Unknown error (0x80092013) - The revocation function was unable to check revocation because the revocation server was offline. Could not connect to server “
 

Environment

Cause

SSL protocol version set is tls1_2schannel: next InitializeSecurityContext failed: Unknown error (0x80092013) - The revocation function was unable to check revocation because the revocation server was offline. Could not connect to server “

Resolution

The new DUT 7.5.3 patch is made available at http://support.arcot.com (same location as the CA-TMIssuer-7.5.3-DUC-WIN.zip). Please refer to the DUT related Advisory which was earlier sent out by CA.
Install the Patch “CA-TM-Issuer-7.5.3-DUC-WIN-PATCH.zip”
 
PRE-REQUISITES:
1. You have performed either Install or Upgrade of new DUT 7.5.3 on your Windows machine.
2. You have encountered the above error while running DUT tool (either of GUI or DUCCMD command line versions)
PATCH INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:
 1. Unzip the file: CA-TM-Issuer-7.5.3-DUC-WIN-PATCH.zip (MD5 8E277B980D5053995932B02EA03725A4)
2. You will have 3 files
a. ArcotUpload.exe
b. ArcotUploadClientApi.dll c. DUCCmd.exe
3. a. Go to your installed Arcot Systems folder. The default location should be:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Arcot Systems\VPAS Client\bin
b. Copy and Replace the above 3 new files into “VPAS Client\bin” folder
c. Reboot your windows client machine.
 Perform your DUT tool test
