Issue/Introduction
Does CA Secondary Index Builder rebuild all the indexes without having an CA UNLOAD file?
Environment
Release: Component: SIB
Resolution
CA Secondary Index Builder can run standalone after reorganization to build secondary indexes separately (FUNCTION=INDEXBUILD). Also Secondary Index Builder can run after recovering a main database to recreate primary and secondary indexes separately (FUNCTION=INDEXCREATE). You will restore the database from Image Copy as usual and then use FUNCTION=INDEXCREATE to build the secondary index. You do not need UNLOAD file, indexes can be created from the main Database using, of course we recommend to back up everything before attempting any recover.
