Clarity PPM: Jobs are Failing due to Oracle error ORA-30036

Issue/Introduction

One or more Clarity jobs are failing.

Clarity runs on the Oracle database so when checking the BG logs, it shows the following error:
ORA-30036: unable to extend segment by 8 in undo tablespace 'UNDOTBS1'

Cause

This issue occurs because the undo tablespace specified, has no more space available.

 

Resolution

The issue is to be resolved by contacting the DBA team managing the Clarity database.

1. The data file(s) will need to be autoextended.

2. Any database blocking sessions will need to be killed by the DBA team.
